Welcome to Pelton Primary School

Welcome to our wonderful school and thank you for visiting our website. My name is Mrs Telfer, and I am extremely proud to be the Executive Headteacher of the Beamish & Pelton Federation.
Pelton Community Primary School is located in the small rural village of Pelton and serves the children of Pelton and other surrounding villages.
Our thoughtful, hardworking and supportive staff ensure our children are at the centre of everything we do. We offer a very caring and nurturing environment where staff have high expectations of both learning and progress. Staff inspire and challenge pupils to reach their full potential, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an ever-changing world.
